By the time Wendy had finished eating breakfast, Rex had already left.

However, Clare was still there.

Wendy was a little embarrassed. "Clare, aren't you Rex's assistant? Why didn't you go to the company with him?"

"Mr. Gavyn asked me to take you to the hospital."

Wendy nodded understandingly. "Thank you."

"That's alright. I'm also Mr. Gavyn's personal assistant," Clare explained.

Watching Clare and Wendy leave, the butler shook his head as he instructed the servants to clean up the dishes.

Master Gavyn was obviously very special to Wendy, but he didn't say it out loud.

He was stubborn.

Clare sent Wendy to the hospital, but he did not go upstairs with her.

Wendy nodded and hurried upstairs. She really wanted to know if her mother was well.
