Chapter 32:Follow Me, Don't Walk Away

Wendy was tired of crying, and her eyes were as red as a little rabbit's. Rex closed the book and said, "Go back to the room and sleep."

"No." Wendy rubbed her eyes. "I don't even know how to answer these questions."

"We can get some progress gradually. Besides, you're not so stupid," Rex said teasingly.

It was almost midnight and Wendy yawned non-stop. Sleepiness swept over her and she didn't have the energy to bicker with him at all. She asked in a tired voice, "Tomorrow seems to be the weekend, right?"

"Well."

"Then I'll do it tomorrow." Wendy tidied up the textbook. As soon as she got up and was about to leave, she looked back at Rex, who had not moved. "Aren't you going to sleep?"

"I have something to deal with."

"Oh." Wendy did not suspect anything either. She merely narrowed her eyes and left.

He gently knocked on the door and looked at the message that Clare had sent him. His face was as gloomy as a thunderstorm. H
