Xander's POV

The next morning at the safe house was bleak. I had so many things on my mind and I didn't know how to get rid of any of them.

Javier had become a thorn in my flesh, and I didn't know how to stop him. I thought I had him under control, but the more I attacked him the more he came back stronger. He was like a damn cockroach that just wouldn't die.
