It felt odd to Esther that Lilia had never brought up this topic. To her, it felt like the most obvious thing to ask. She wanted to know more about him, his life, and his experiences and it felt right to start from the very beginning.“How did you feel,” she asks, “you know, after becoming a vampire? What did you do?
