Chapter 79

Nathan took out the seal and stamped it firmly beside both of their signatures while Wyneth watched. This action made her realize that their divorce was truly final. After finishing with the divorce papers, Nathan handed one copy to her.

"Ms. Walford, it's done."

Wyneth took the divorce papers, her voice and expression neutral. "Thank you."

"No need to thank me. It's what I'm supposed to do."

As the waiter delivered Nathan's coffee, it did not seem appropriate for him to leave just yet. The two sat together in silence, sipping their coffee. Nathan's curiosity got the better of him as he continued to study Wyneth, eventually asking, "What do you plan to do after the divorce, Ms. Walford?"

"Maybe a little bit of everything," she replied indifferently, clearly not wanting to elaborate.

Deciding not to pry further, Nathan finished his coffee, stood up, and said, "I wish you all the best, Ms. Walford. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave."
