In front of Hayden, Wyneth did not seem to hold back, speaking candidly. She did not care about Hayden's feelings, nor did she worry about embarrassing him in front of his assistant and driver.

"So, it was a misunderstanding?" Bruce, a man with a rather cold demeanor, did not pry any further and simply asked, "Where are you now?"

"Acrofburg. I have some matters to deal with, and then I'll come to see you."

After hanging up, the car fell into a heavy silence. Hayden's face darkened like a storm cloud, while Wyneth leaned back nonchalantly as if nothing had just happened. Hayden glanced at her, his icy lips parting as if to speak, but then hesitating.
