Chapter 42: Bonnie and Clyde Reunite

Jovie’s POV

I must have been dreaming. 

When my eyes fluttered open, I was in my bed. It wasn’t real.

“What a weird dream,” I mumbled. 

“So you still dream about me?”

I sat up and there was Reno sitting on the edge of the bed. 

“What…what are you doing here?” I breathed. 

“I came back for you baby.” Reno smiled. 

I hated how amazing he looked. His hair was longer and perfectly messy. He had stubble on his face that I wanted to feel against my own. He still had that mischievous smile that made me want
