Natasha was sobbing and shaking. She had never seen Steve so angry before. She tried for two years to get him to notice her. She was angry when she witnessed that his relationship with Aziza was becoming serious and reached out to Jerome who was more than happy to assist with a ploy to separate the two. They paid Paul, the street fighter from downtown to pretend to be her violent ex to bring them together. The plan was to keep Steve and Aziza apart to give Natasha and Jerome time to win them over. It seems Jerome figured the photos of Steve and Natasha were all he needed to break them up and changed the plan, sending Paul to meet Aziza.
