Chapter 48 Unexpected and unacceptable

Oswald was in his thoughts thinking about Elsie’s health, he looked out in the window. He had a poker face on when Rod entered the room, he didn’t have to knock as the door was left ajar. He wondered the reason for this as Oswald wouldn’t leave the door ajar if he was in the office or out. He thought that, maybe something had happened inside and so, he rushed in.

When he saw that Oswald was in the office and had left the door and was also sitting and not working, he froze in his steps and stared at him in confusion. He tilted his head and looked at his face and the thought,

Sir is getting worse and worse, if he doesn’t realize and confess his feelings, I don’t think he can return to who h was before.

He sighed and walked walk to him purposely making noise with his steps. Oswald seemed to have heard this noise and looked in his way. He frowned and asked in an irritated voice,

When did you start acting this way? Why are you dragging your feet in this way? Are you out of your mind?
