Eira stopped at her apartment before making her way towards the mansion. Most of her stuff was gone but all she really wanted to do was take a quick stroll around the place because she missed it too much. When she was ready to leave, it felt like a goodbye. For a reason unfathomable, Eira felt she wouldn't ever be able to live in the same apartment again.
When Eira returned to her room, Nate greeted her with his charming smi
"Have you lost your mind?" Josh's tone made her wince. With long, heavy strides he crossed the distance between them and stood right in front of her. His eyes looked at her with accusation. "How could you even think of doing this?"Shaking her head, Eira stared at him with a gaping mouth which continued to bleed. "What do you mean?" Eira responded in an grave tone, her face puzzled."Don't act like you don't know. You're a witch! Have you forgotten that?"She shook her head and raising her chin, answered, "No, Josh. I haven't. What does it have to do with me and Nate kissing?"His lips quivered and brows descended, knitting closer. "It has everything to do with it. He's an abomination to nature. You can't be with him."When Eira noticed her eyes welling up with tears, she held her head in her hand. "Are you even listening to what you're saying? He's your friend! How can you say that?"
In front of her was an open field of white daisies. The air was filled with a sickly sweet smell. The field extended for miles at end on either side, as far as Eira could see, and in the centre she saw two youngsters chasing each other.
"And well, today something horrible happened and the two people that I actually started to like din want to talk to me anymore. My life is so messed up, isn't it? Anyways, that's my whole story, Flames," Eira finished a yawn but when her eyes darted to look at the pup on her bed, he was already sleeping soundly. "Wow, I thought it was interesting. Maybe not so much."The clock showed the time as midnight. But still she had heard n
That night Eira tossed and turned in her bed but she never rested. The full moon looked down upon her from the sky outside through her open window. Its soothing light drove away the darkness from the room but as she regarded the celestial body, she thought of the werewolves. She wondered what they truly looked like in the transformed state. For some reason, she didn't believe the image she dreamed of to be real. She thought
The pair headed to a boutique located in the heart of the town. Bella was in the mind to travel to Everwinter but after being perstered by Eira, she decided not to.The first one wasn't good but the lady there claimed that all the good dresses were already sold so they moved further.
Her voice was only a whisper when she said, "Caleb."
“Bella is not really looking for me, is she?” Eira asked as soon as they were far enough from Caleb.Damien shook his head, his eyes looking straight ahead. “No.”She smiled at him. “I’m surprised. You know her name and you keep referring to her as my red-haired friend. Anyways, where’s Dana?” “In the bathroom. Some problems with her dress,” He said flatly. Eira bobbed her and chewed her bottom lip. “Not that I needed your help, considering the fact that I was completely capable of doing a spell which I couldn’t do for obvious reasons…”Damien paused suddenly and she realised they were already inside. A slow song played and pairs danced to it in each other’s arms. “You were saying?” He asked, furrowing his brows. “Thank you,” Eira said and rolled her eyes. “You can let go now.”“What?” Eira nudged him with her free hand and asked, “Damien? What are you looking at?” She turned her eyes but found him staring intently at a wall.“Nothing,” He said, restless and his eyes finally met h
"What was that?" Bella asked with widened eyes. "A vampire? Eira, I'm scared!" Her breathing turned ragged. Her arm instinctively reached and grabbed Eira's arm but the witch didn't allow herself to panic. "Bella, you should go." Eira advised her but she shook her head. "I'm not leaving you," She said. Eira felt her hand growing clammier and colder with each passing second. With Bella's arm still around her, she walked towards the origin of the screams. They started to fade until the night was silent except for the restless running feets outside. Panicked girls and boys ran out of the room in a hurry, not caring if they stepped on each other's dresses. Some were crying, a few screaming. There was absolute chaos and Eira looked for Damien's face in the crowd. Had he attacked someone? No, he couldn't. It was too risky a task even though he seemed to not care. Finally, Eira reached the bathroom, the door of which was partially open. She touched it slightly and let it open fully be
