CHAPTER 14: DIMAS

"HIS CALMING PILL"

DIMAS NEARLY lost his jaw when his father struck his face with a powerful blow for the fifth time now and he did nothing but be on his feet, rooted like an unmoving log in his front. Clenching his jaw as hard as possible to remain expressionless and invincible. This has been happening for three decades now, his body was used to the pain already.

"I really can't figure out where did you get that stupid mind of yours!" he growled in a very furious voice while his nose crinkles in loathe. "Do you really have a mind or you are really nothing but an airheaded, worthless as*hole?!"

"Arquero, please..." cried by his mother while she was trying hard to keep his father's fingers from pointing at him. The pity she's feeling for her son is making her weep louder, but it can't do anything about her husband's wrath. "Our son's hurting."

"Do you see any sparkle of care in my eyes?" he spat without any tone in his ice-cold voice.
