It was true, after the discussion with Alessandro that day, I never spoke to him again and it was clear that it was because of my future husband's demands, ones that I didn't like very much to say the least.

"Tell him to come in."

"Matteo, how are you?"

"I'm still sore from the blow, but I'm better now," he smiled sympathetically. "I wanted to talk to you, I think everything got out of control at the coffee shop," he said.

"True, but I really just want us to be good friends, I don't want any problems with Alessandro."

"Claudia, do you really love him?"

"Yes, I really love Alessandro and I am very happy by his side," I said confidently.
