Strange connection

Ivy was shocked when he asked her that question.

Her mind raced with thoughts.

Did he remember? Was he remembering bits of their time together? Why was he asking.

"In the past? We? Why do you ask?" She asked and he tried to sit. "No, no! You're not to stress your arm." She said and pressed a button to raise the bed into a comfortable sitting position.

"Thank you." He said and she tried to change the conversation.

"You're not to use your arm Mr Grayson. Using it can cause some problems for you. I heard from the doctor but you can choose to ask him later if you please." She said and he looked at his arm.

"I can't use it?" He asked and she swallowed.

"It needs to heal before you can start using it. Using it before it heals, can cause some serious problems, like a permanent damage." She explained and he sighed.

"I'll need an assistant." He said to himself then looked at Ivy. "I asked a question." He said and Ivy swallowed.
