Just then, Jonathan swerved the car to the side, and Scarlett—who'd already been feeling sick—felt her stomach churn even more at the momentum. She'd already been in a terrible mood, and the swerving was the final straw. She couldn't take it anymore, nor could she wait for him to stop the car; she rolled down the window and threw up almost immediately. She didn't need to look at his expression to know how furious he must be. She'd told him over and over again that he disgusted her, and now she was actually throwing up because of him.

Jonathan had never had to experience anything like this before. Normally, women were dying to be with him. Yet now there was a woman who was throwing up just by being in his presence. As such, he was understandably in a foul mood.
