Chapter 15 – The Game

Scott and Sharon both turn around to look at an infuriating Gordon.

“What the hell you both think you are doing?”He barks at them but he keeps his stares on Sharon, not once sparing a glance at Scott.

“She was upset, I thought of bringing her here to cheer her up.” Scott says smilingly at Gordon.

“This place is not safe for someone like her.” Gordon replies back

“So? I am here to protect her.” Scott replies to him with a serious face.

“She is a mere human, you stupid… if something happens to you who will defend her then?” Gordon shout at Scott, annoy with Scott’s carelessness.

“Emma is behind with rest, go to her.” Gordon says and Scott smirks at him.

“She is already coming here, why I will have to go and see her there. And I don’t trust you enough to leave Sharon with you.” He teases Gordon as he winked at Sharon.

Gordon stands wide legs and crosses his arms across his chest, looking at both of them as if they are two culprits who have been caught red handed.
