AARON

I stood my ground in front of Helena and covered her.

I heard a sharp scream and looked to my right to see my dad with an arrow pierced through his right side.

Anger surged me and I ran over to where he laid. I pulled the arrow from his chest and he screamed in pain.

"Shut up!" I threw the arrow to the side and ran over to a side.

I threw a t-shirt at Christian and he took the hint. He wrapped the shirt around my dad's chest, adding the slightest amount of pressure.

I grabbed a jacket that was nearby and placed it over Helena's trembling body.

In my protective state I had nearly forgotten that there was a hunter right around us. A thud was heard behind us and I turned around to find someone I could've never guessed.

"James?"

A bow and arrow were in his hands and he stood in a defensive stance.

My feet shifted to protect Helena even more and he pointed the bow and arrow at me.

"Don't move!" He shouted. I stood very still and raised my hands in surrender.
