Alexander had a headache and was tired of the heated debate going on among his council members. The tension over his lack of an heir was dangerously high.

There were concerns about the pack's future leadership. The council and elders refused to accept that Bianca's son would succeed him after his death.

Alexander had never felt more confused in his life. He found the idea of the position going to another family very disturbing, especially since one of his distant cousins had a bastard son with Alpha blood. His ungrateful pack members were now considering making him the heir to the throne.
