Violet asks Jade to stay behind her as the both of them reach outside. Violet looks from her left to right, seeing no one out, even the guards she turns back to Jade.
"Jade. It's about 12:30 am now. The guards are on a break from 12:30 am to 12:45 am. That gives you fifteen minutes to escape, shift into your wolf when you reach the pack border. Mask your scent and keep running south, five hours into the run, it will lead you to the main highways and it would lead you towards a human town. My aunt lives there, so you don't have to worry about the living arrangements. I've told her everything and got it covered." Violets words make Jade emotional.
Honestly, she didn't know what she did to deserve such a great and helpful friend like Violet. She will forever be thankful to Violet.

1 week later It had been a week since she left and to say that he had been a wreck would be an understatement. He had been searching for her the past week like a thirsty man in search of water in the desert. His pack members have been relentlessly searching for her, day and night. 3 years later Walking up in the morning and seeing the world was something Jade was thankful for. It had been three years since she gained her eye sight and she didn't miss any moment to cherish the blessing or take it for granted. Getting out of the bed, she walks into the bathroom attached to the room. Doing her normal morning business she comes out of the bathroom. An instant smile travels her face as she her eyes catch the sight of the small figure siting up on the small bed or crib.
