Chapter sixty-six

I drove back home after seeing Samantha. I wasn't certain of my feelings. My wolf left me to figure it all out myself. These days he seems to only make a movement in the presence of Eleanor. He must really hate me double as much as Eleanor does.

All these while my wolf felt her wolf. I always wondered and thought it was strange but after what happened at the battle ground, it all made sense to me.

Samantha confirmed to me it was only a coincidence that Jeremy had seen her and Maxwell and Maya together and there was nothing that went on between them. She denied knowing about Eleanor's true identity but had somehow felt a weird aura around her.

As much as her words and her reactions seemed and sounded so believable, I wondered why I felt different.

"Has she left her room since then?" I asked Eleanor's servant when I got back in.

"No, my Alpha, she hasn't left her room since then. I wonder if she is alright."

I must speak to Eleanor. Soon enough she will step out. I stuck arou
