ARTHUR’S POV

When the elevator opened, standing before us was one of my kind, Elisa and a friend to my human mate.

She wanted to have a word with her which my mate reluctantly agreed and asked I wait for her in the car.

When she wasn’t coming out after some minutes, I got a message from Jeremy that I was needed in the training center and I had to drive to the training center. I hoped she would be out and waiting by the time I got back.

But when I returned, there was not a sight of her.

“Excuse me, did you see a lady putting on a dress that walked out of the building?” I had asked an elderly she-wolf when I drove back and couldn’t find my human mate.

“All ladies literally wear a dress and probably more than a dozen ladies had both walked out and in of the building in the last few minutes, sir,”

“Oh yes, I’m sorry…”

She squinted at me and gasped. “My apologies, my Alpha…I hadn’t realized it was you…”
