Sienna:
I was about to respond when the dressing room’s door was knocked, breaking our conversation.
Arturo frowned and cursed under his breath before taking a step back, letting me go in the process.
He wrapped his hand around my fist, pulling me away from the door before opening it, revealing his mother who frowned in confusion when she saw the two of us inside. She crossed her arms over her chest, a small smile creeping to her lips as she probably thought that the two of us were getting intimate in the dressing room.
“The plane leaves in an hour and a half and we need to hit the road to get to the airport. I think whatever it is that you were doing can wait until you are back home, how about it?” She asked, smiling at the two of us. Arturo cursed under his breath and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut, making me jump in surprise. My heart raced against my ribcage, and I couldn’t help but notice that my hands shook as I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. I walked toward the couch that was in the room, knowing that I needed to take a deep breath before I could process what just happened.
I stared at the door for a few seconds, knowing that he was standing outside, hearing his heartbeat as he waited. I got up from the couch and quickly stripped off the wedding dress, and put on a short white dress that they had set for me. It was customary for a woman to wear a knee long dress on the night of a mating, and it seems like my father was sure to have me prepared for this.
I stared at my reflection after putting it on, making sure to straighten it before walking out of the room. My eyes met Arturo’s who looked up at me with a frown on his face before he put his phone back inside his pocket. He looked down at the dress then back at me, deep into my eyes, studying my expression before nodding at me and wrapping his arm around my waist.
“I take it that you’re ready for the mating.” He said, looking down at me. I had to fight back laughing, or gagging, both options were applicable at the moment, as I chose not to respond. The man couldn’t just be as aggressive as he was earlier to simply expect me to answer to such sarcasm a few seconds later. Monster or not, I was going to be sure that I lived through this marriage on my terms. I was not to be victimized as they wanted me to be.
“It seems to me that your mother decided that it was YOU who was ready for the mating, and I believe that she wasn’t very wrong. You know, the position, you grabbing me by my neck, nice tempting moves.” I said sarcastically. “But I do suggest that you don’t try them with me again.”
“Oh really? And if I do?” He asked, fighting back his laugh. The cold smile that was on his lips seemed to fade as the two of us walked out of the hotel and headed toward the car. And seeing as I chose not to answer him, I could tell that the Alpha grew somewhat annoyed by my attitude. However, the last thing that I could care about was a man like him at the moment. His hand wrapped around my wrist, stopping me from getting inside the car as he pulled me back slowly.
“What are you doing, wolf?” He asked, his tone now more annoyed than it already was.
“Testing your patience, what does it look like I am doing, Alpha?” I asked, my eyes darkening as I glared at him. The man chuckled and shook his head before pinning me against the car. His eyes darkened, and I wasn’t sure whether it was anger or lust, but his hardening cock which brushed against my thigh told me that it was the latter.
He leaned into my cheek, running his nose against my neck for a second as he inhaled my scent making my cheeks redden before he left a wet kiss. The Alpha didn’t even care that we were being watched, and seeing as the elders were around, I knew that they were somewhat satisfied with what they were seeing.
“I suggest that you choose a different Alpha to play with, neonata.” He said, his voice above a whisper before he left another kiss on my neck. I hated admitting it, but my cheeks reddened as my body grew hotter with each kiss, and catching the scent of my arousal, I truly did hope that the driver was human and couldn’t smell it.
He let me go and took a step back, opening the door for me, smirking as he probably smelled the effect that he had on me. My eyes met my father’s who was speaking to one of the elders, and nodding at me, I had to fight back shaking my head and just running away, leaving like there was no deal to begin with.
But knowing the power that each one of them had, I knew that there was no escaping this. They would be finding me in less than a minute if that happened, and that was not something that I wanted to consider to begin with. The idea of them catching me was not something that I wanted to think of, and the fear that consumed me as I thought of it didn’t make it easier.
I turned my attention to the Alpha who was looking at me, and I simply knew one thing.
I was playing with fire.
And that fire could burn me alive in seconds if I wasn’t careful.
“Get in, Sienna.” He said coldly, snapping me out of my daze. “That is unless, you want me to carry you inside, neonata…:
Arturo: I watched as Sienna sat on her chair beside the window. Her heart raced as she sat, clearly anxious. The family was either asleep, or busying themselves with whatever they had to tend to. My parents were on a different plane for security reasons, each one of us took their own planes. Sienna and I haven’t said a word to one another since what happened at the wedding, and it didn’t take me long to realize that she was avoiding any interaction with me to begin with. And though even mom noticed on the runway that we weren’t walking, especially when she believed that we were growing ‘intimate’, she sensed that something might have happened. But thankfully, choosing to put whatever assumptions she had in mind, she didn’t say a word. I got up from my seat. The plane was already halfway back to New York, and it wouldn’t be long until we were home, at the Estate, expected to fulfill our duties as Alpha and Luna toward one another. The ceremony, that she as a wolf expected, was not
Sienna:My heart raced as we arrived at the Estate, or in other words, the pack’s grounds. The fear and nervousness of what was to come started eating me, and though I could tell that Alpha Arturo was trying to calm me down, somehow at least, I couldn’t help but feel myself grow more anxious with each passing minute. The car came to a stop in front of the front door, and opening his door, the driver rushed to my side, opening the door for me as a bodyguard opened the door for the Alpha. Arturo walked toward me and nodded in assurance. The fact that I would be the only wolf among a pack of Lycans scared the life out of me. These people could easily kill me alive, and just thinking about that made my heart drop to my stomach as I took a step forward. “No one is going to hurt you, Sienna.” Alpha Arturo assured, his voice softer than it had been, even on the plane when he offered me a drink. I had to admit, at first, I hesitated, thinking that he might end up killing me, but not smelli
Arturo: I kissed Sienna back, allowing her to take control of the kiss despite how hesitant she was. Her heart raced, and I could tell that she was more nervous than she was letting out. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer to me as I deepened the kiss before lowering my hands down toward her waist, pulling her closer as I leaned in, deepening the kiss. I pushed her toward the bed, laying her on top of it, watching as she hesitated before I nodded at her, wanting her to lay on the pillow. I took my shirt off before walking toward her, a predator walking to his prey, letting her know who was dominant. I got on top of her, hovering her body as I rested my arms either side of her head, and leaning in, I connected my lips with hers in a gentle kiss. Sienna’s arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me down as she deepened the kiss, and lowering my hands down on her body, gently brushing my fingers over her skin as I touched her thigh. Her cheeks reddened as I pulled away to
Sienna:I whimpered when I woke up, feeling sore.I tried sitting up, but I would be lying if I said that I could feel my legs, because I couldn’t.“Easy.” I heard Arturo’s voice as he walked out of the bathroom. His hair was wet, and a white towel hung over his waist as he approached me. He wrapped his arm around me, helping me sit up, and I couldn’t help but hiss in pain.“Are you okay?” Arturo asked and I nodded.“Just a little sore, I guess. It should die down in a bit, and a warm shower can help." I said, avoiding his eyes. Noticing that I was looking at the mark on his neck, I didn’t even know how I had it in me to bite him to mark him as mine, but it seems like I did it right. My wolf purred when he cupped my cheek, making me look up at him, and he smiled, running his finger over my jawline. “How about I help you to the bathroom, you can freshen up?” Then the two of us can go out for breakfast?” He suggested, his gentle tone taking me by surprise. I had to fight back frowning
Arturo: “Why is the whole place empty?” Sienna asked, frowning when she saw the dim lights from outside. “Are you sure that it is open?" "It is open, Sienna.” I said, getting out of the car. I walked to her side and opened the door for her watching as she smiled, silently thanking me. I simply nodded in response. “The place has no cars parked, and literally no one inside.” Sienna said, pointing at the place, making me chuckle. “Yes, because the whole place is for us for the day. This would give the two of us a little more privacy, and considering that we are both wolves, getting the privacy of not having humans around is a lot more suitable for the two of us, don’t you think?” I asked, making her eyes widen in surprise. I smiled at her and wrapped my arm around her waist. I guided her toward the restaurant where the waiters and manager had already opened the door for us. She smiled when she saw us walking inside, and I nodded at her to guide us toward our table. She looked at the
Sienna: “Where are we going now?” I asked, shaking my head in question at Arturo who has been driving for the past hour. The two of us have spent most of the day at the restaurant, mostly because we found ourselves talking about so many random things that we didn’t notice the time running, and it wasn’t until he got a phone call that we realized that it was a while past noon. “I got a small meeting call and invitation that the two of us would need to attend. I hope you don’t mind, it would be at another restaurant.” He said, glancing at me before going back to focusing on the road. “I don’t look presentable for such a meeting. Please don’t get me wrong, but I don’t want to embarrass you between your colleagues.” I said, blushing as I looked down at my lap. Having told me that we were not going anywhere extravagant, especially since it was morning, I simply put on a white shirt and jeans, but this was not something that I expected. “Don’t worry, even I am not ready for such a meet
Arturo: Sienna and I entered the restaurant, and it wasn’t long before the two of us realized that we were the literal center of attention. Girls around us looked at the two of us, men admired my wife, not that I could blame them. She was beautiful as it was without trying to be, therefore, with her makeup, hair, and dress, she looked breathtaking, and the men acknowledged it. I wrapped my arm around her waist as we reached the table where the men who I was going to meet sat. The women looked at her with wide eyes, clearly astonished by the fact that I was actually with someone. Being humans, neither one of them knew about the arranged marriage deal. The only ones that did know to begin with were us werewolves and Lycans, we chose to keep our secrets and issues away from even the vampires who could end up using that against us. “Arturo, nice to see that you brought your bride.” Pascal, a French capo said, smirking at me as he kept his eyes on Sienna who simply smiled. “C’est un
Sienna: “I think that is enough wine for the night.” Arturo said, shaking his head at the bartender as he approached me with a third glass of wine. Though I did agree with him, I just wasn’t really sure why he didn’t want me drinking. I put my hand on his knee, squeezing it gently as I raised an amused eyebrow. “Want to tell me why you think it is enough for me to have two when you are on your fifth scotch glass?” “Because I said so, baby girl. I don’t want you getting drunk to the point where things grew messed up, and these men are not ones to mess with.” Arturo said, and I nodded, choosing not to argue. The fact that I could tell that he, or more specifically, his wolf was growing protective was not a lie. Though I did try to keep the topic to myself, the man was making it obvious to a blind man that he didn’t want anyone looking at me. The men that DID try to look at me were either glared at or even threatened. The women who were now busy tending to their half drunk husbands
