Selene knows the place is never a good place, she look around the whole ball gathering and it’s almost as all the girls there are slave.

The way the are dressed and how some of them are drag around like a dog is something she couldn’t describe.

She’s the only one with appropriate dress, “you like the looks of those girls?” Axel ask beside her and shivers.

“I’m not your slave Axel and you know that”Selene replied hoping that she would sound as confident as she desired.

The air in the castle is tense and it’s feels so dangerous, the way the men carried weapons around like some gangsters alone makes her nervous.

They both grab a drink and moves to a table not far from them while the lady who stand with Nicolas takes her to another seat.

She looks to cold and have not utter a word since, “what’s your name?” Selene ask trying to start a conversation.

It’s too tense in the atmosphere and she’s trying to get rid of it.

The lady lock eye contact with her for few seconds without uttering a word, “Clara” She replied when Selene thought she’s never going to reply.

Her voice seems too slow and too soft like it’s going to break, “I like your voice” Selene said and the girl could only chuckles.

Clara do not want to believe that she said that to her, “everyone here has this voice and maybe soon you will be like too” Clara replied.

“You mean to say all the ladies like that voices sound too soft like this?” Selene become confused.

“You will understand what I mean soon okay?” Clara look around and there he sighted Nicholas and Axel.

They are both staring at the two of them as they speak from their table, “Nico has his eyes on you and it’s never a good idea being with a set lord” Clara said which Selene eyes twitched.
