Emily’s POV

There was no place in the world that I hated more than that shitty enormous building which we called our pack house.

I hated everything about it, from the expensive floors to the high artistic ceilings and the gold portraits on the walls but to be honest, what I hated the most was the people in there.

I hated the wide smiles on their faces, I hated the way they all acted like one big family and the way they took pleasure in trivial things like going hunting and joining stupid groups.

My hatred for my pack began years ago, probably from the day I was born. Mum had always told me of how I cried nonstop when I was born and I so much wanted to tell her that it was because I hated what I saw and I had wanted to go back.
