It’s been months—almost six months—since I’ve last seen Airk. In real life, that is. Apparently I’m a glutton for punishment because I keep staring at every picture I have of him.

On social media, it appears he’s doing okay. I’ve seen pictures of him laughing with his friends and family. Pictures of Airk and Isaac going to college classes together.

Airk is living his life, and soon he’ll find his mate, and I’ll be a distant memory.
