Chapter Forty Nine

"Who would be this reckless to pack a car on the road." I heard Lucas' voice jerking me out of my thoughts, as I immediately looked up, only to see him frowning.

He finally stopped the car, and turned to me. "I will be right back, I need to face this bastard." He said to me, while I just stared at him blankly before he got down from the car, and stormed to the car in front.

"Get this nonsense you call a car out of my way, I need to pass through this road." Lucas yelled, hitting the car hard with his palms, while I watched from inside the car.

Just then some men got down from the car, and started attacking Lucas, making me gasp, as I slowly tried to search for the keys so I could start the car and escape, but couldn't find it, and just then I realised Lucas had gone with it.
