Chapter Sixty Two

I was still dwelling in my thoughts when a knock came on the door, jerking me back to reality.

"Who's there?" I asked frowning.

I wasn't really pleased that someone had come to interrupt my thoughts. Honestly I was really feeling down, and that's making everything around me annoying.

"Alpha, I'm sorry to disturb you." She apologised, but I wasn't ready to listen to that.

"Just say what brought you here." I urged her, making her sighed softly.

"Alpha there are some people in the sitting room, who claim to be guards you sent out." I heard her say, and immediately I realised it was the guard I had been waiting for.

I quickly rose to my feet immediately forgetting my work, as I rushed to the door immediately.

"You said they are in the sitting room right?" I asked her immediately and I opened the door.
