Chapter thirty

I really have to figure out a way to face Brian tomorrow, because I only have the grace of tonight alone. I thought and sighed as I started devouring my food hungrily.

It was finally morning, and I was already awake, but I still lay on my bed, as my mind went off to how I had foolishly stared at him yesterday.

"Does he still remember it?" I asked no one in particular, as I finally sat up on my bed, but just then I heard a knock on my bedroom door, making me gasped immediately.

"Who could that be?" I murmured under my breath, as I slowly tip toes to the door, while trying hard to catch the scent of who was at the door.

I couldn't smell anything until I finally got to the door. I peeped through the little opening in my door only to see the maids standing there. I sighed in relief as I opened the door.

"Do you need anything?" I asked her why staring straight at her.

"No ma'am, but I'm here to take out the dishes from last night, I'm sorry I couldn't come to take them yesterday." She said
