Chapter Eighteen

"I actually came to tell you that I would be going over to the Pack house now, for the meeting." He finally spoke up, and I sighed softly.

"Oh okay, I have even forgotten about it already, anyway thanks for reminding me, and please give me a few minutes, let me get dressed." I told him, hoping he would excuse me, so I could get a change of clothes.

"Do you intend to come with me to the council meeting?" He asked, raising his brow at me, and I could tell her wasn't expecting my outburst.

"Yes, I'm coming with you, I can't take a chance on your safety." I slowly started standing up from the bed where I had laid before.

"But the council members won't be pleased if they see me with a lady who they didn't invite in the meeting." He spoke out his worries, and I smiled.

"I know that, and I don't intend to go into the meeting with you." I told him, making him take a deep breath, as I could feel the tension in him subsiding, before I continued.
