CHAPTER FORTY-NINE: OUT LIKE A LIGHT

Suddenly it hit me, and I'm pretty sure Stephanie forgot too. I can't hear what they're saying, and they can't hear me. The only person we can hear is Stephanie. So why were those idiots giving me the stink eye?

I couldn't help but let out a chuckle as I watched people sauntering by behind the mesmerizing display. Their varied outfits and styles painted a vibrant tapestry of humanity.
