After walking into Stephanie's mind and chatting with her, I detected a child with powerful abilities stirring inside her as she was gently awakening—a single child among those she carried. My suspicions stirred; I chose to wait for confirmation.
I glanced at Brock to reassure him about his mate. "Alpha, your mate is in good health. She's merely been playing with your sons. She will rouse from her sleep shortly. I'll return to the office now. While you attend to your mate, I'll oversee the pack's welfare."
Brock regarded me with astonishment. "You're taking care of the pack?"
Nodding, I elaborated, "And managing quite expertly. I've stationed our men securely along the borders and have cast a potent magical barrier surrounding our territory, effectively barring Adrian and his cohorts. I'm certain that my sister and Crystal, hidden within the magical realm, are launching magical attacks against them.
