"Did you ever bring Damon here?".

My heart paused for a second, and my whole body stiffened upon hearing David's question. It brought lots of unwanted, sad memories back.

This made my head clear, reducing the effect of alcohol and my lips twisted into a forced smile, as I turned to look at him and said "No, didn't you tell me that this is our secret place and no one should be here".

"I thought it is not limited to Damon," He said, giving me the same usual genuine smile. "Even if I wanted him to come, he could never come with me.
