Rechel's POV

I watched her face turn pale, her whole body stiffen, and she looked so scared and hurt that I didn't know what was going on.

Did... did I do something?

"Kate... are you okay?" I asked, shaking her a little, trying to bring her focus back to me.

"Hah? ....." her eyes stared back at me and she tried to force a smile, whispering "Nothing..... I am fine, you don't have to worry about it".

"No! You are not OK! Look at your face, you are so pale and it seems like you are scared. What happened? Just tell me, I will try to help you, Kate," I asked, getting closer and cupping her face.

"Please Rechel, I .... I don't want to talk about it," she whispered, her eyes pleading with me to stop asking. I wanted to know what was bothering her but stopped myself from asking, seeing her eyes filled with tears.

"Fine, I won't ask," I said, giving her a small, comforting smile. She nods her head.
