Rose’s POV

I opened my eyes only to see painful light bursting through.

“Where was I?’ I wondered to myself,

A dull pain shot through my arm to my surprise. I groaned, laying down.

What was going on? I wondered as I shifted to the side, trying to spot the reason for my pain.

As my sight cleared up and the lights dulled down, I finally saw it.

There was an IV drip on my arm, and standing beside the bed I laid on, was Rael.

I instantly jolted up, watching as he focused on me.

“Rose." He said, moving to reach me.

I ignored the pain as I used my arm - still connected to the drip - to stop him, arms spread out in the air.

“Don't come any closer,” I warned despite my voice wavering.

Thankfully, he stood right where he was, and I relaxed a little.
