Justina's Point of View

"What are you two doing here?" I asked as I walked over to where Courtney, Justin, and Chace were.

"We wanted to check on you and Courtney to make sure you were alright," Chace said.

"I am not weak and don't need you checking up on me," I said angrily. Chace was acting like I was too weak to go anywhere without him. I didn't need him acting all protective over me. Not after the way he treated me.

"I know you are not weak, and I don't want you to get upset with me. I only want to protect you," Chace said. I hated that a part of me was happy hearing his confession. He had no right to act as if he was looking out for me.

"I don't need you to protect me. I can protect myself. Stop acting like you care about me, especially after how you treated me because it won't work," I said. I am tired of Justina acting like an ass...if she doesn't accept the truth then leave or refuse his mating...she saying the same over and over

I think Justina needs to realize the truth that Chace told her. He killed his dad because of how he was. Abusing his family, threatening to murder Justina. All because he still wanted her mom.

Her complains are sounding like broken record to me now. She keeps saying the same thing over and over and the story is on a stalemate over a weak dumb excuse. I like the work from this author other books but this one needs to get stronger and more convincing and less repetitive
