Chapter 21

Justina's Point of View

"Are you okay, Justina?" Chace asked as we walked back to the Packhouse. After Chase had eaten me out in the women's restroom at the Diner, we went back to our seats and ate dinner.

I barely said anything the rest of the night. I felt ashamed of myself for letting him be intimate with me. I was supposed to give him a chance to prove himself to me, not let him taste me.

"Is it because of what happened in the restroom?" Chace asked, and I sighed.

"I shouldn't have let that happen, Chace," I said, and he sighed.

"I get what you are saying, Justina, but I don't regret what happened between us tonight. We are Mates, and what we did wasn't wrong," Chace replied

"It was wrong, Chace, because we aren't in a relationship. Don't forget we are not in a normal Mate relationship because of what you did last year," I replied. I could see that my words made Chace feel bad by the change in his facial expression.
