Chace's Point of View (Two Weeks Later)

"Justina," I called as I walked to our room to see if she was there. I had been staying in one of the guest rooms since Justina had moved onto our floor. I knew she wasn't ready for us to sleep in the same room. She still didn't trust me fully, but it seemed our relationship was getting better, and she was beginning to trust me.

We had been spending a lot of time together. Going on dates and eating dinner every night together. I felt confident that Justina was warming up to me and would soon accept me as her Mate fully. At the same time, I was worried that she would let her fears of me hurting her again get in the way of her accepting me.
