Defense Mechanism

The supreme alpha and his mate promised to come in a few hours after Alpha Alphonso called them. Earlier, after he dropped the call, he had been confused about how they accepted that fast. Then followed by confusion why they accepted that faster, after all, the supreme alpha didn’t go around answering anyone’s calls.

He paced not far away from the gate as he waited for them, keeping in mind to inform the pack was unaware of Alpha Ciandra’s current predicament.

When he heard a car approaching, he stared at it with eyes wide, indeed, it was the supreme alpha’s car. It stopped right in front of him and the luna came out. The first sentence she uttered made his heart jump, “what did you do?”

He should have asked her why she thought he did something to her but remembered he invited them to help and not to show how arrogant he would be.

Alpha Alphonso motioned for her to walk with him, the supreme got down and greeted him softly, “keep talking, I will walk behind you.”
