Chapter 25 - Creed

I scoff at my cousin, shaking my head. “Of course, you slept with her,” I say, but the look on his face tells me there’s so much more to this.

We’re still in my office and Sage has just explained to me how far back his connection with the Seelie girl goes. It shouldn’t surprise me that he slept with her, but it does surprise me when I see the desperation in his normally vacant eyes.

“It’s not just that. When we… she made me feel, Creed,” he says, sitting forward and leaning his elbows on his knees, shocking me to absolute hell. “When I was with her that night, throughout the entire day with her, I felt something. You should know what this means to me.”
