Damien's furs disappeared slowly as his fangs turned into teeth, his wolf muzzle contorting back to his human face, His claws that he used in gripping Elle's arm turned into fingers as the blinding light seeped through his eyelids, panting slowly as he raised his hands to caress Elle by the cheek.

She pressed her cheeks against his palm, sniffling in her tears. A faint smile formed on Damien's lips, the smile faltered and it felt like his soul was leaving his body.
