Chapter 81: A Blessing And A Curse

I smiled, thinking about Roxanne. For one, I was happy that she still had a sibling. I could still remember vividly how miserable she had been when she lost her family in the wolf attack that struck the pack years ago, leaving her an orphan. As fate may have it, it turns out she still has a surviving sibling.

I was about to leave my room when she showed up in front of my door again.

“Have you visited your sister yet?” I asked, raising my eyebrows at her. She had barely even spent 10 minutes there, and she was back already. Was she missing me that much?

“Yes, I have. I’m just coming from the cell she was placed in. She seems to not have any malicious intent, but as you’ve said, let’s wait till Ospreh gets here.” She said.

We were still talking when someone knocked on the door, interrupting us.

“Who’s it?” I asked in a lazy tone.

"Alpha, it’s me, Leo. Ospreh is here already, and she requires your presence so she can begin the process.” Leo said from outside.
