Chapter 55

"Yes, Izzy..." Daisy answered, palming the girls cheek in her palms.

"Why were you crying?" Izzy asked Innocently. It made Daisy realized that the little girl hasn't heard what happened to her uncle.

"Umm nothing, let's take a walk" Daisy quickly switched the topic. She led Izzy out of the hallway and they took a short walk in the garden. Izzy made her did things that made a little bright smile touched her face.

When the guards came to take Daisy later in the evening, panic filled her.

She had dreaded this day all day she had been unable to do anything about it. She does not ever want to get back to the dungeon. They would torture her and blame her for every single sins she knows nothing about.

Daisy's only happiness was thar Izzy wasn't around to witness the guards taking her away, she was at the backyard watching the maids play moonlight games.

At least Izzy wasn't there. That would have traumatized her further.

As they took her away, she pleaded not to be taken to the dungeon.
