The soothing hand on his back dragged him out of his miserable thoughts. It was as if all the demons of his pasts vanished, and his head was clear again.

When he looked at Daisy, concern was written all over her face, her eyes filled with warmth. But she quickly snatched her hand back, thinking she will get punished.
