Chapter 12: Testing The Antidote

I hit the road immediately I was able to get the antidote from Moscow. I hope this works out, as I needed to get out of this pack. Being wolf bane was toiling with my mind. I couldn’t transform, I couldn’t use my powers, and I couldn’t even speak to my wolf, and being among other werewolves made me conscious of that fact. I hope this works out so I can leave the pack and return to Los Angeles, I already missed my life as a doctor.

I returned to the camp following a secret route I found. I was very careful not to make any noise, as I didn’t want to raise suspicions.

I thought about going to see Whitney to inform her I was back and how I succeeded in getting the antidote, but I decided against it and just headed for the healing chamber directly.

I entered the healing chamber and found Damon’s father lying weakly on the table. It seemed his health was deteriorating quickly, as he looked frail and pale.

I dropped my bag, and steadied myself, moving closer to him. I noticed he was s
