I know that you are going to hate me for this twist, but I have to ask a question. Now, I know that some of you want a Nicolas story, but because the story would be following the plot of this one, I am going to be adding both the stories on one book. My question is, do you want it as a sequel (merged) on this book, or do you want us to proceed as we are, adding Nicolas, Dante, Aurora, and 'mysterious mate' POV's when it is time? Which way would you prefer? I have an idea and plot for both, but either way, it would be on this book, but as I aim to satisfy you guys as well, I would like your opinion. Sorry for the VERY long note, and I will be waiting for your response. Bye, bye.
Dante: I smiled, entering the bedroom to find Aurora scrolling through her laptop as she lay on bed. Her hand was on her stomach as she rubbed it gently, and the laptop was on her lap. Most of her things were already here as we gradually, and silently, had her moving here, closing her apartment as she moved with me. She smiled at me, and got up from the bed. I put the necklace’s bag on the dresser. The ring was hidden with Nicolas, as I didn't want her seeing it before I knew that she was ready for this. I wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly. She laid her head on my chest, and I kissed the crown of her head, purring at my beauty. I pulled away and got down on my knees to kiss her stomach. Aurora smiled, and putting her hand on my hair, she ran her fingers through my strands, gently pulling on my roots. I smiled up at her, and pulled her toward the bed. The two of us sat on the edge of it as I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her to my chest. “How are you feeling?”
Mattia: “Mattia D’Angelo, you have visitors” the officer said, entering the room that Giovanni and I were staying in. The men around us looked at me, and I nodded, watching as the officer walked out of the room, waiting for me as they stood by the door. Having hung up on Giovanni earlier, both of us were worried that things got more messed up than they already were. Them being caught was something that I didn’t want to think of, especially since I didn’t know how I would be able to get them out of this if needed. Giovanni nodded at me, and walking out of the room by the officer’s side, I smiled when I entered the cafeteria to see my mate and son standing in front of me. Gabriella’s eyes lit up when she saw me; however, Leonardo looked like he saw a ghost. His eyes stared into space and his life was drained from his face, making me frown in confusion. I wrapped my arms around my mate, hugging her tightly, taking in the scent that I have missed for so long. I kissed the crown of he
Leonardo: “Are you sure that you’re okay, Leo?” Mom asked as the two of us entered the house. I turned to face her, and cupping her cheeks, I gave her a weak smile before nodding, and kissing her forehead. “I am fine, mama, I just need to process a few things” I said, taking a step back. “We are yet to discuss how you are so sure that Alessandro won’t easily find us using his compass. You do realize that he could trace us…” “He cannot, mother, as I believe that you seem to forget that I am the carrier of the eye” I said, showing her the eye that Mattia gave me the day he told me of what he’s been up to. The eye was an ancient ornament that was made by the best friend of the first compass owner. It was said that the two were inseparable, and could have been mistaken as brothers. Their main intention in making them was to contain their power, to make them the strongest of men and beings, but some stories say that the compass carrier grew greedy, and the others say that the eye’s ca
Aurora: “Angelina, what is going on?” I asked, frowning when my stomach hurt me more than it usually did. My baby, feeling my nervous state, grew more nervous by the second, kicking me as if his life depended on it. “I don’t know, Alessandro asked me to stay back…” Angelina frowned, before a choked cry escaped her lips, and following her gaze, my jaw dropped at the sight. My mate, Dante, held a limp Anastasia in his arms. Her hand, which would have normally been on her stomach if she had any control of it, was limp in the air, and blood, her blood, coated her clothes and my mate’s, making my lips quiver. I tried listening to her heartbeat only for my throat to tighten when I couldn’t hear her pulse. Seeing that, Elena, Maria and Angelina froze before Angelina wrapped her arms around her daughter, pulling her to her chest, and hiding her face on her chest, not wanting her to look at the scene before her eyes, I knew that I was not dreaming or hallucinating Nicolas and Alessandro
Nicolas: I smiled as mom handed Aurora her son before walking out of the room, giving her privacy to feed her baby, and wanting her to stay as calm as she could be after what she’s been through. The fear, and the pain that she’s passed was something that I knew was hard on her; however, I was thankful that she managed to get through this without asking too many questions. I dialed Dante’s number, trying to call him; however, again, he did not answer. Having called him seven times while searching for the things in the bathroom, I was forced to do nothing more than help Aurora through this, not wanting her to grow more nervous than she was. Hell, I wasn’t the one going through labor and seeing her in the state that she was in, I grew frightened not wanting anything to happen” “Where the fuck are you, Dante?” I hissed before throwing my phone on the couch. Mom walked out of the room and shook her head in question. She was yet to hear about what Anastasia said, but judging by everythi
Dante: I walked toward the car, my heart breaking with each step as I processed what Anastasia told me before she took her last breath before her heart stopped beating. My tears refused to fall from my eyes despite the pain that I was feeling. My chest was on fire as my heart bled, and for the first time in my life, I felt like I was stabbed in my heart, making it bleed rather than pump blood as it normally should have. Leonardo, my brother, and best friend, was betraying us this entire time? It was something that I couldn’t accept no matter how hard I tried to do so. My hands shook as I put her inside the car, laying her down in the backseat. I was aware of mom, Elena, and Alessandro following me; however, I couldn’t open my mouth to speak to any of them. I got inside the car, wanting to drive her to the hospital, wanting to prepare her for a proper burial. And it wasn’t until I put my key inside the keyhole that I broke down before hitting the steering wheel. Mom, Elena, an
Eva: “I will find her for you, mama, and we will unite as a family; but I want you to promise me that you will be patient, okay?” I heard Leonardo say, and I shook my head before I drove off. The man was stupid enough to believe that the eye that he had was the real one. Hell, I was surprised that his own idiot of a father thought that he was worthy of it; but then again, if an idiot like him believed that Giovanni wouldn’t kill him the second he got the compass, then what else was I going to expect? I drove toward Dante’s house, shaking my head at the fact that Leonardo was stupid enough to not only kill his mate, but his heir, the Eye’s Heir, and though I knew that I most likely wouldn’t be able to save the child; saving the woman would spare him the sin which would lead to his death. The man deserved to watch the man he served die first before he was killed by the man he betrayed. I watched from a distance, and my heart raced as my wolf grew anxious at the scent of my mate being
Aurora:I smiled at my son, running my finger through his hair as he lay on my chest. He cried, or more specifically, whimpered, in my arms, letting me know that he was hungry and wanted to be fed, and smiling, I brought him to my breast, allowing him to drink the milk he wanted and needed. My little one sucked on the milk as if his life depended on it, making me laugh as a few tears fell from my eyes. And it wasn’t until the bedroom door was knocked that I snapped out of my daze. My mate’s scent filled my nostrils, and despite the joy of being a mother, I couldn’t help but worry about him. I cleared my throat before taking a deep breath, not sure what to expect from him as a reaction. I covered my baby’s head, and my breast with a blanket as he drank his milk before calling “come in” Dante opened the door, and looking at me, he froze by the door for a second before he walked inside and closed the door, locking it. His hands shook as he clenched his fists, making my heart race. I
