Darren's each and every sense turned alert the very moment he identified who that viciously demonic looking woman in front of him was. Her inky black eyes were darker than the deepest shade of black. Her pale skin was looking lifeless, like there had not been a single ounce of blood inside her body. Her extremely long hair was open and was touching the ground. Her petite and fall figure was covered in a dark black cloak whereas a sinister smirk was ghosting on her face. Anyone could feel petrified just with a mere glance of her. She was looking like a living deadly nightmare. A kind of nightmare which would haunt you even in the daylight and in your open eyes but he remained rigid on his ground because his sole focus was his mate's safety.

"So how are you, Darren?" He heard her voice which sounded like a mixture of countless screams and cries. It was gut shrinking.

"We are meeting after so many years and I must say, you do look exactly like your father, Lucian,"
