The Punishment

"Did you harm him so that you can hurt me, Aereza?" Those words of his made Aereza finally open her eyes slowly. Those couple of words of his felt like a cruel blow on heart like someone had started stripping her existence mercilessly.

Slowly taking her head upward, she finally let their gazes collide with each other. Right now, the only thing she could see in his eyes was anger, rage and extreme amount of pain. The pain of getting betrayed by her and it shuddered her soul.

Darren yanked her closer, slamming her body against his forcibly. Looking down at her, he again accused her with that soul shivering blame.

"Did you use Ellais to break me?" Her eyes watered instantly because she could not just hold them after knowing how low he was thinking of her.
