Cosimo: I tapped the dining room twice, getting lost in thoughts at the number of things that I still had to do. Diego: Both Lea and I entered the grand hotel where the ‘ball’ was to be held. I knew that being a mafia one, it was going to have more than just a little ball, this was going to be the mask of it until most of the guests had left. Lea: The night was young, and I knew that things would be taking different turns in it. Diego had his arm wrapped around my waist as the two of us danced, and though I was enjoying it, I couldn’t help but find myself feeling weary about the place that we were in. It was one that I found to be too frightening to me, and I knew that it was going to be something that I wasn’t going to be getting any better.
