Lea:

“Do you want to tell me what you’re planning, Diego?” I asked, shaking my head at the man, my mate, who was playing a strange game as he approached the woman knowing that she could easily be followed.

“There are many things that I have in mind, but I am going to try and find out what she is doing here.” He said, and I raised an eyebrow at the man. I shook my head in question at the man whose eyes were fixed on mine, and he smiled, cupping my cheeks. He kissed my forehead, and I smiled, knowing that he was dismissing the topic.

“I take it that you are not going to tell your mother?” I asked, and the smile that was on his face instantly faded. He shook his head, and I took a deep breath, knowing not to interfere. It was something that he had to do, and if he didn’t want to tell his mother, it meant that he knew that it wouldn’t end well if he did, at least, not for now.

“I want to tell her, and I know that she would be upset if she finds out about it from someone else, but I als
