Chapter 16

Emily woke up from her miserable state and got ready for another day of torture from the Alpha King. She stretched her arms, yawning, but she quickly went to the bathroom and took a quick bath. She faced the mirror, she looked pale, and her angelic face looked uglier every damn time. She looked away from the mirror as her reflection was too much to bear.

Changing her clothes, the door opened, and Drake was choking her to death in just a blink. She could feel the rage on Drake’s hand on her neck, he was livid, and his eyes were burning with anger.

“I… I can’t breathe,” Emily tried to commence. “D-Drake…” she called his name.

“Oh, Emily, when will you learn to bow down to me, huh?” The Alpha King shook his head with so much rage. “When will you stop disrespecting me?” His voice was cold.

Emily coughed; she couldn’t breathe properly.

Drake was smirking, yet his dangerous cold stare was visible. He is pleased every time he sees her having difficulty of breathing. He’s cruel. It wasn’t den
