Emma didn’t ask why he said that or what was wrong, she simply took two steps closing the gap between them, then she hugged him tightly, “Everything will be fine, believe me,” Emma said.

Caleb felt worst, she must have thought that he had a past that made him say those words. But that was not the case, she love this mating bond they feel because it is what she feels for him, but his case was different as he loved the mating bond because it helped him infiltrate into this pack, but was that the case now?

Then he thought about his mother, all the soft emotions on his face wiped out. he broke the hug and smiled fakely at her, “You are so kind,” he said and held her hands before they walked away.

Emma wanted to lighten Caleb’s mood, so she stood in front of him blocking his path as she had a huge smile. “Let’s do a race,” she suggested and Caleb laughed out.
